Next week (oct 29th) in the Museumfabriek: a workshop where Wout Zweers and Sujata Majumdar will work on making and using wooden printing blocks. The laser will be used to make blocks, but also ready made blocks will be available to experiment and make patterns on textile or paper. Traditional patterns (Ajrakh) will be used as example as well as modern patterns (fashion, kodern european prints). Printing will be done with indian printing blocks and with new lasercut printing blocks (linoleum, wood)
